This is my first Randall Silvas book and I really enjoyed it. A murder mystery with beautiful writing and elements of literary fiction.
Told from the point of Detective Ryan DeMarco, who is incredibly well drawn and interesting as a character, and Thomas Huston, the man Ryan is trying to track, this story slowly and carefully whittled down the truth behind who really killed Thomas’s family.
Slow to medium-paced with wonderful characters, I would highly recommend this read for a foggy day next to the fire!
