Those Girls by Chevy Stevens
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Those Girls was an easy, fast read about three sisters who’ve had a seriously hard life. Forced to run from their alcoholic, abusive father, they soon find themselves in even more danger on the road. Eighteen years later they’ve changed their names and tried to move on, but then one sister (for reasons I actually couldn’t determine) decides to go face what they ran away from all those years before.
I’m a huge Chevy Stevens fan. This was a thoughtful thriller, so not as fast-paced as some of her other books, yet the characters are still brilliantly written, with an intricate plot and beautiful, sometimes chilling descriptions.
