A slow burn domestic suspense/family drama with elegantly drawn characters that are intriguing, compelling and flawed.
The story begins from an unknown person at the wedding of Stephen and Heather, his much younger new bride, at which time something shocking happens that the reader doesn’t know yet. The plot then moves between the wedding and the drama that took place within this family prior to the wedding. What elevates this story is the exceptional writing. Well done to Sally Hepworth for this uniquely told story.
