Close To Me by Amanda Reynolds
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
A dark, twisty tale about the deception of families and the lies we tell to cover our sins. Close to Me is an addictive novel, which kept me guessing right to the end.
The story follows Jo, who fell down the stairs and is now missing that last year of her life. But did she lose her balance or was she pushed down the stairs? As she pieces together the last year, she discovers that her marriage and family are not as they seem.
I was gripped instantly and felt real compassion for the memory loss, confusion, and nerve-wracking situation Jo found herself in. A fantastic debut from Amanda Reynolds. I highly recommend!
