Saving April by Sarah A. Denzil
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This twisty thriller kept me turning the pages. I couldn’t put it down and had a very sleepless night that night!
A tragic event means Hannah stays hidden away inside her home, unable and unwilling to come out. But when a family moves in across the street and numerous signs point to their 13-year old daughter being abused, Hannah knows she must come out of her house to help the girl, and herself.
I loved the way Denzil wrote the characters and found myself drawn to poor Hannah. Denzil is a true master and building her characters. Lots of twists and turns throughout and a shocker of an end. Fabulous book!
