Dark Matter by Blake Crouch
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
You know when a book is so good you can’t stop reading, then when you finish it you can’t pick up another because it feels a little bit like cheating on the first book? That’s this book. Like Jason Bourne meets science, this sci-fi thriller (not my usual genre!) is about paths not taken and how far we’ll go to claim the life we want. It isn’t about time travel, but more the parallel universes that could exist, and the choices we make that determine those universes.
Despite it being completely different than my usual read, I absolutely loved it. It was thought provoking, action-filled and utterly mind bending. I honestly couldn’t put it down, it’s that face-meltingly good! I’d give it 6 our of 5 stars if I could.
