Last Seen Alive by Claire Douglas
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
It starts as a lesson in ‘if it looks to good to be true, it is,’ and builds suspense until a fantastic twist a little after midway through. Loads of surprises along the way, a well-meshed plot, fantastic characters, this was a completely compelling story I couldn’t put down.
After receiving a leaflet through their door, Libby and her husband Jamie decide to swap their tiny city flat for a beautiful house by the sea. But as soon as they arrive, strange things start to happen. Jamie thinks Libby is just being her normal paranoid self. But Libby is unsure if she’s going crazy, or if someone from her past it out to for revenge.
