Julie Clark is quickly becoming one of my favorite thriller authors! I read The Ghostwriter and loved it so much I’m working my way through her backlist, and loving every single book.
This one follows Meg a con artist and chameleon who becomes whoever you need her to be before conning you out of everything you have. Kat has waited years to expose the woman who upended her life. So when she sees Meg, she’s determined to expose her.
As their stories intersect, it’s impossible to tell who is good and who is bad, and it quickly becomes clear that the difference between revenge and justice varies from different viewpoints.
