What She Found by Robert Dugoni
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
The 9th instalment of the Seattle-based Tracy Crosswhite series, Robert Dugoni only gets better and better. In What She Found, Tracy is now a cold case detective, which allows her more time to spend with her husband and small daughter.
Tracy knows what it’s like to have lost someone, to never have closure, so she quickly accepts the cold case of Lisa Childress, a journalist who went missing 25 years ago.
Gritty, compelling, unique, What She Found hooked me from the start. It manages to walk that delicate line between plot and character, and absolutely smashes both out of the park. Kudos to Dugoni on another amazing instalment in this fantastic series. Clever and emotionally astute. I highly recommend.
