Really great premise about a mother desperate for the truth after her daughter goes missing and is discovered beaten almost to death. Consumed with grief, Melanie decides she must find out what happened to her daughter, who did it, and why. But nobody in the village is talking.
Wonderfully atmospheric, this novel beautifully describes the marshlands and flatness of Lincolnshire.
