I enjoyed this fast-paced, twisty thriller about Sue whose daughter Charlotte walked in front of a bus and is now in a coma. Sue embarks on a mission to find out what really happened, and if it was really an accident.
The story goes between past and present as we find out what really happened to Charlotte and how it’s connected to Sue’s traumatic past. It is twisty and an interesting read, and I absolutely loved the premise. However, I didn’t really connect with Sue as much as I would’ve liked, and I didn’t feel there was enough of a resolution at the end, but still a solid book by Taylor.
